Beef & Lamb Boxes

Crowther Lane is named after our family property at Crowther which has been in the Reid family since 1911. In early 2019, my husband Ben and I decided to commence the transition from a traditional mixed farming enterprise to solely growing beef and lamb using regenerative farming methods.  With the assistance of our committed and energetic farm Manager, we now have large mobs of cattle and sheep regularly rotating through our chemical free mixed pastures. 

As a result we are proud to be producing beef and lamb which have been grazed on pastures grown in healthy microbial rich soils free of synthetic fertilisers, insecticides or herbicides. Our livestock enjoy a peaceful and happy life roaming around open paddocks with plenty of shade from native trees and access to fresh water at all times. 

BEEF BOXES

Our passion for connecting country people with real chemical free and ethical food has led us to wanting to share our beef and lamb with our customers.  We will announce each month (via email and social media) when our Beef Boxes are available for purchase through The Gathered Green Shop Page.  Prices will be confirmed on the Shop Page. Boxes weight between 6.5kg and 7.5kg and will include the following cuts:

• Lamb Sausages (Preservative & Gluten Free)

INDIVIDUAL CUTS

All Crowther Lane Beef and Lamb Cuts are now sold individually from the Young Shed Store or from any designated pick up location, pending availability. To avoid disappointment, we encourage customers to pre-order any Lamb or Beef Boxes or individual cuts via email. 

 DELIVERY 

Beef and Lamb boxes and individual cuts are only available for free delivery within Young, or pickup from the Young Shed Store. Alternatively, they can be picked up from our scheduled pick up location/times at Grenfell, Forbes, Parkes, Canowindra, Cowra, Temora, Cootamundra and Wagga. No extra freight is charged on the box price. Please see our Shop Page for ordering.
